Story
Get to Know Lisa
Since 2004, Lisa Tanner Norkus has been active in politics, nonprofits, and political organizations with a desire to create real and lasting progressive change in Kentucky.
A newspaper once described her as "the fiery red-headed politico from the South" with energy and insight for Democratic campaigns. She is an advocate for listening to voters from direct contact, and crafting the right campaign for the district. She is not afraid of a tough fight and has beaten entrenched incumbents.
Lisa's experience includes leadership in campaigns for Senate, Congress, Governor, Mayor, State Senate, State Representative, County Executive, and Metro Council.
